In this position, the ideal candidate will conduct interior and exterior architectural facility condition assessments on various building types including healthcare, education, sports, public and commercial.

This position can be done remotely from any city throughout the United States, but preference will be given to candidates in Buffalo, Chicago, Houston, and Boston. This role can be done remotely from any state on the West Coast, however preference will be given to candidates in Washington, Oregon, California, and Colorado. This hire will focus on researching and identifying new clients, leading and developing client engagement strategies, and collaborating with internal partners from both FOS and CannonDesign. This person will promote the FOS brand regionally and nationally.

This entails working with government agency construction programs, coordinating multiple concurrent projects and tasks through the JOC procurement lifecycle, being responsive and communicative to the needs of our clients, and maintaining excellent user experiences.

Based out of our Buffalo, NY office, the ideal candidate will be responsible for providing back-end support for project managers and facility assessment team members, handling data collected in the field. They will occasionally perform as an assessor within a multi-disciplinary team for a variety of building types including healthcare, education, sports, public and commercial.

This role is focused on production of competitive proposals across our various service offerings. The ideal candidate will serve as a reliable expert in InDesign, utilizing their skillset daily to consistently produce project proposals that win over new clients.

The ideal candidate will conduct mechanical/plumbing system facility condition assessments on various building types including healthcare, education, sports, public and commercial. Acting as an Assessor on projects, this person will be responsible for observing and documenting deficiencies in mechanical and plumbing systems, ensuring work quality, interfacing with clients and their facility staff teams, and supporting the FOS Project Manager in various tasks as assigned.

In this position, the ideal candidate will deliver web-based and onsite training while anticipating areas of difficulty using analytical and troubleshooting skills. They will develop an extensive working knowledge of FOS’ two software programs to provide technical support to staff and clients.
